February - June 2007
The below photo's are a photo journal for my website visitors to enjoy. I have been fortunate to have been able to travel from time to time and with each trip, I photograph turfgrass conditions that I encounter. I will continue this forum and add to the photo's (and of course soil profile samples) as I continue to travel from place to place.

Here is the NFSTMA touring Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. The overseeded ryegrass was just transitioning out and allowing the dormant bermudagrass to grow again on the field. | We had Don Follett, Sports Turf Manager at M&T Bank Stadium, Home of the Baltimore Ravens speak at our NFSTMA event. |
This is a view from the stands at the Baseball Grounds at Jacksonville. | This is Ed Attalla, Sports Turf Manager at the Baseball Grounds at Jacksonville speaking to our group. |
After the NFSTMA meeting, we had lunch in one of the picnic areas at the Baseball Grounds at Jacksonville and watched an afternoon Suns baseball game. | I was able to visit the Grand Cypress Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida and see some of the re-construction that was going on the course. This is the fairway being fertilized after sprigging bermudagrass. |
