The below photo's are a photo journal for my website visitors to enjoy. I have been fortunate to have been able to travel from time to time and with each trip, I photograph turfgrass conditions that I encounter. I will continue this forum and add to the photo's (and of course soil profile samples) as I continue to travel from place to place.
This is the newest addition to the Turf-Tec line of diagnostic tools, the Turf-Tec Mariotte Tubes for the ASTM 12 and 24 inch Infiltration Rings. The Mariotte tubes keep a constant head pressure on the water to conform with the ASTM testing standards. | May 13th, 2003 was the STMA Florida Chapter # 1 meeting at Ft. On June 27th, 2003 I attended the South Eastern Conference (SEC) sports turf meeting in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on the grounds of the University of Alabama. This is the profile of the stadium field at the University of Alabama. It is a sand based profile amended with Zeolite to improve the CEC. The sod was sand based sod and the renovation was performed last fall.
