Home made thatch rake designed to be pulled across golf green.
In 1955 Tom Mascaro invented the Verti-Cut to eliminate grain and reduce thatch, it revolutionized how golf was played.
The West Point Master Verti-Cut bagged the thatch as it was operated across the fairway.
Worm eradicating fertilizer was used on golf greens to kill these pests. You can see dead worms in the foreground.
Turf maintenance vehicles were introduced to golf courses to aid superintendents in traveling the courses.
Tom Mascaro introduced the T-3 truckster with West Point Products as a multi-purpose utility vehicle.
