GfactorGO - Wireless Playground Impact Tester with Hard Case
PN-GOFACTORGO-S

The GfactorGO wireless playground impact tester is a simple tool designed to test surfaces under and around playground equipment for safety. is intended to be used to measure the impact attenuation of surfaces under and around playground equipment for safe playing surfaces. The 10.1 pound impact tester has a head shaped form and when dropped, wirelessly sends peak gMax, HIC (Head Impact Criteria), height of drop, angle of impact with time and date stamp to the handheld control unit. Impact velocity and HIC Interval (Delta T) can also be shown. The GfactorGO wireless playground impact tester is intended to be used to measure the impact attenuation of surfaces under and around playground equipment for safe playing surfaces. The impact hammer meets the dimensional requirements of: ASTM F1292 /ASTM F355 /En1177 / AS/NZS 4422 / ASTM F3313.

In the GfactorGO's control unit, a memory card is used to store the results of up to 1000 drop tests. This allows the user to copy the drop test results to the included application program running on a Windows compatible platform for report generation and archival purposes. Inside the GfactorGO's hemispherical head of the impact tester is a MEMS sensor (accelerometer) which produces electrical signals proportional to the G value of the head form’s impact with the surface being tested. Circuitry inside the head measures these voltages, calculates Peak G, HIC, impact angle and impact velocity and wirelessly transmits the results to the handheld display.

Simply raise the drop hammer on the GfactorGO wireless playground impact tester above the surface to be tested.
Next squeeze handle to release hammer onto the surface being tested
GfactorGO wireless playground impact tester will fall onto teh surface and record the gMax, HIC (Head Impact Criteria), height of drop, angle of impact with time and date stamp

GFactorGo Wireless Playground Impact Tester will fall onto the surface and record the gMax, HIC (Head Impact Criteria), height of drop and angle of impact that also provides a time and date stamp
GfactorGO wireless playground impact tester hand held controller
The GfactorGO wireless playground impact tester's handheld controller will display the drop number, the peak gMax value, the Head Impact Criteria, the drop height and the date and time.
Pressing GRAPH on the GfactorGO wireless playground impact tester's control unit will bring up the graph for the drop and display peak and HIC (Head Impact Criteria).

Pressing GRAPH on the GFactorGo Wireless Playground Impact Tester's control unit will bring up the graph for the drop and display peak and HIC (Head Impact Criteria)
When the GfactorGO wireless playground impact tester's memory card is inserted into a computer, the data is visible showing the data and HIC (Head Impact Criteria) graph.
For critical fall height (CFH) calculation as per EN1177 four drop tests must be performed with the GfactorGO wireless playground impact tester. Changing the drop height to result in increasing HIC values. The first two drop tests must result in HIC values below 1000 while the second two result in HIC values greater than 1000. This can also be displayed on a computer by inserting the units memory card in the compter and downloading the data.
The GfactorGO wireless playground impact testers handheld controller is small enough to fit in your pocket
